Here are some photos of a hexagon quilt I'm making. Unfortunately I've run out of the cream fabric and can't find it anywhere in the world!!! Maybe you can help me find some.<br />Please note, the quilt top has been stored for a while and has not been ironed before photo was taken!!! Sorry about that!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxTvYJMhdI/AAAAAAAAAis/7Kj5GquhKFQ/s1600-h/P6270010.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 245px; height: 183px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxTvYJMhdI/AAAAAAAAAis/7Kj5GquhKFQ/s320/P6270010.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358249730064025042" border="0" /></a> <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxTvuDqaeI/AAAAAAAAAi0/TLiA0Rx30CI/s1600-h/P6270011.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 247px; height: 185px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxTvuDqaeI/AAAAAAAAAi0/TLiA0Rx30CI/s320/P6270011.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358249735946398178" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxX40jlpMI/AAAAAAAAAj8/XjwFobJPtkY/s1600-h/P6270012.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 157px; height: 117px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxX40jlpMI/AAAAAAAAAj8/XjwFobJPtkY/s320/P6270012.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358254290356249794" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxX5mMR1KI/AAAAAAAAAkM/xsVRQpzr5lc/s1600-h/P6270015.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 149px; height: 114px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxX5mMR1KI/AAAAAAAAAkM/xsVRQpzr5lc/s320/P6270015.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358254303680255138" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxWkdyH5wI/AAAAAAAAAj0/PFaxuc9yFig/s1600-h/cream+sample+1.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 154px; height: 113px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/SlxWkdyH5wI/AAAAAAAAAj0/PFaxuc9yFig/s320/cream+sample+1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358252841134188290" border="0" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />Let me know if you would like to try the hexagon design.<br />The quilt you see above is my own layout design.<br />There are several ways to place hexagons.<br /><br />Looking forward to hearing from you.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">Just email me with any questions.<br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54487/204/889B0F29AC874B2859258FB4F332295C.png" style="border: 0pt none ! important; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial;" /></a><br /><br /></div></div>Katehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08849889545323899300noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774518868966119998.post-50731579743086048212009-06-09T23:41:00.003+01:002009-07-14T11:17:58.369+01:00English Paper Pieced StarJust wanted to share this pic of a star design made with the English Paper Piecing method which I love doing.<br />I was 'dredging' through some photos to put on my Far North Photography Blog when I came across this little pic.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/Si7iioNulrI/AAAAAAAAATw/pJBwgTma93Q/s1600-h/quilt.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 234px; height: 175px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_j4JT2k-GLAc/Si7iioNulrI/AAAAAAAAATw/pJBwgTma93Q/s320/quilt.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345458892273784498" border="0" /></a><br /><br />It is all hand pieced and was my first real 'effort' at this method. I'm not actually going to proceed with this one as I'm not entirely happy with the overall quality close up!!<br />But I will definitely make another one. Now that I've learned how to do it properly!! ha ha!<br />Take care everyone!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54487/204/889B0F29AC874B2859258FB4F332295C.png" style="border: 0 !important; background: transparent;"/></a>Katehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08849889545323899300noreply@blogger.com2
